About Chris
I work with founder-led B2B service businesses that want clearer financial visibility, more confident decision-making, and fewer surprises.
My role as a Fractional CFO is to bring structure, insight and calm to the financial side of the business — without unnecessary complexity.
Why I do this work
I’ve spent much of my career working close to founders and leadership teams, and I’ve seen how financial uncertainty can quietly drain energy, confidence and focus even in otherwise strong businesses.
My work as a Fractional CFO is driven by a simple belief: founders do their best work when they have clarity, calm and a trusted financial perspective alongside them.
I’m not interested in complexity for its own sake. I focus on helping business owners understand what matters, see what’s coming, and make decisions with confidence. Without turning finance into a source of stress or distraction.

How I work with founders
I work closely with founders who want clarity and confidence in their financial decisions, but don’t want to become finance experts themselves. My role is to bring structure, insight and perspective without adding noise or unnecessary complexity.
I focus on the numbers that matter most: cashflow, forward planning, pricing, and capacity. I translate financial information into clear insight so you can make decisions with confidence, rather than reacting to surprises.
I don’t replace your accountant or bookkeeper. I work alongside them, providing forward-looking financial leadership and acting as a thought partner for the founder.
What working together looks like
Working with me is designed to reduce noise, not add to it. My role is to help you understand your numbers, anticipate issues early, and make decisions with greater confidence — without overwhelm or unnecessary complexity.
Clarity, not complexity
I focus on the numbers that matter and explain them in plain language. You won’t receive dense reports or jargon — just clear insight you can use.
Calm, consistent support
We work to a steady rhythm. You’ll know when we meet, what we review, and what decisions need attention. No firefighting unless it’s genuinely required.
Respect for boundaries
I don’t provide bookkeeping, statutory accounts or tax services. I work alongside your accountant and bookkeeper, bringing a strategic, forward-looking perspective.
My aim is that you feel more in control of your business — and less burdened by the financial side of it.
If this feels like the right fit
If you’re a founder of a B2B service business and want clearer financial visibility and more confident decision-making, the best next step is a simple introductory call.
